March 24, 2022 marks 25 years of expanding successful business for CorrTech, Inc.. CorrTech began with 5 founders in 1997, and one of the majority founders, Scott Paul, is still involved with day-to-day operations as a Technical Director.
In March of 1997 the Corrosion Engineering Service group, Massachusetts office and staff of what was then known as Consumers Applied Technologies decided to strike off on their own. Scott Paul, Bruce Wood and Frank Hemerlein had the vision to continue providing corrosion engineering services, so this small group established CorrTech along with Gordon Stuart and Dennis Carenza.
“We struggled in the early days with 6 employees, cash flow issues and other challenges faced by all start ups but we knew how essential our expertise was to preserve infrastructure. CorrTech's staff has built a well recognized reputation for Corrosion Engineering and Solutions in New England and throughout the Northeast.
In 2012 CorrTech expanded, ” stated Scott. “We added a great team and expertise when the Deep River Extech office joined us, and now in 2022 are celebrating 25 years of corrosion control service to many industries, have worked on projects in 35 states and 4 countries, and have a multidisciplined team of 29 people across four offices who provide exceptional service on behalf of CorrTech” said Scott.
